A simple lattice-pattern lounging mat made with Japanese igusa rush grass, ideal for a short nap or a quiet rest. Igusa absorbs moisture about 2.5 times better than cotton, helps regulate humidity so the mat stays fresh, and suppresses more than 90% of the compounds that cause sweat odor.
The 40 mm firm cotton padding gives the mat a comfortable resilience, so it can be used directly on wooden floors without feeling the hard surface underneath. The rush surface is treated with hiba essence extracted from Aomori hiba cypress for its natural antibacterial and deodorizing properties.
Folds compactly for storage when not in use. Border: 100% cotton. Made in Japan. Not washable.
